Project launch announced.
I am currently leading a new Smart D8 pilot project called InforMDMenopause. I would like to invite you to the launch event on October 16th at 10am in the Digital Hub, Dublin 8.
The InforMDMenopause pilot project aims to educate women and their family and friends about menopause so they can be empowered to manage their health and their symptoms using self-management strategies but equally know when to seek professional help appropriately. The project provides evidence-based, relatable information on the menopause and perimenopause through a number of free in-person workshops delivered to the community and a free online platform: https://informd.ie/menopause
InforMDMenopause will be launched alongside a free Menopause information event, ‘Menopause and the City’, on October 16th at 10am in the Digital Hub, Dublin 8 ahead of World Menopause Day.
Speakers include;
Aoife Nic Shamhráin, menopause specialist.
Ciara McKenna, menopause specialist.
Clare Farrell, women’s health physiotherapist.
Orna O’Brien, senior dietitian.
Centric Mental Health, chartered clinical counselling psychologist
Plus more to be announced, including keynote speaker.
