2023 has been an exciting year.
This was the moment it all came together, the launch of Menopause and the City. Menopause and the City is focused on improving menopause health and wellbeing.
We achieved this through the development of an open resource digital menopause platform, a one-stop-shop for people to access information on menopause without the need to scroll through endless social media. This new platform is completely free and no registration is required.
???? We also held a number of free in-person workshops, both in businesses and the community. These workshops focused on an overview of menopause, general health in menopause (including brain, breast, heart and bone health) self-management strategies for menopause, hormone replacement therapy and alternatives to hormone replacement therapy and management of menopause in the workplace.
???? I’ve been very lucky with the people I’ve worked with and with the collaborations through Smart D8.
